REQUIREMENTS : MBChB diploma (qualification) that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner (2025) (Independent Practice). NB: The appointed Medical Officer have to be in a position to work shifts. A legitimate work permit will be required from non-South Africans. Sound information of scientific ethics. Multidisciplinary administration and teamwork and journey in the respective medical discipline. Knowledge of modern Health and Public Service guidelines and policies. Skills in phrases of consultations, history taking, examination, clinical evaluation and clinical management. Grade 1: No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice). Minimum of 1-year applicable experience after registration with a regarded Foreign Health Professions and / or the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice) for overseas qualified employees. Knowledge, Skills, Training and Competences Required: Sound expertise of clinical ethics. Multidisciplinary management and teamwork and experience in the respective scientific discipline. Sound clinical knowledge, competency and competencies in customary scientific domains. The ability to work beneath supervision as an environment friendly crew member. Good communication, leadership, interpersonal, and supervisory skills. Ability to control sufferers independently, diligently, accountability and have interaction when necessary. Knowledge of modern-day health policies, legislation, programmes and priorities inside the domain. Ability to teach, information and junior personnel inside the department.
