SENIOR STORES CLERK REF NO: DOT 446/2025

SALARY : R228 321 annum (Level 05)
CENTRE : Area Office, Nongoma

REQUIREMENTS : A Senior Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4 Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: Knowledge of Assets and Inventory control, procedures, techniques and Practice Notes i.e. ordering, issuing inventory takes, reconciliation of stock. Knowledge of tenders/ contract strategies pertaining to stores. Knowledge of procurement processes and methods to stores. Knowledge of Legislation, policies, processes pertaining to the Public Sector. Knowledge of departmental reporting and verbal exchange structures. Knowledge of computerised shops systems in use by using the by means of the Department of Transport. Knowledge of Stores policies and procedures. Knowledge of asset management and BOS procedures. Knowledge of losses/ thefts procedures and Practice Notes. Knowledge of Safety Standards as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Computer Literacy. Knowledge of time-honored administration procedures. Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, Practice Notes and Contracts. Problem solving skills. Interpersonal skills. Numeracy skills. Analytical and Innovative wondering skills. Planning and organising skills. Good conversation skills (verbal & written). Ability to leam, understand and apply. Ability to perform in team. He/she must have right interpersonal relations, be conscientious, devoted dedicated to organisational objectives, projects/ programmes, be capable to work in a group and/ or underneath pressure.

DUTIES : Receive and distribute keep objects and/or fuel. Procure save items for workplace and make sure enough save holdings. Ensure nice report keeping of save gadgets and monthly inventory takings. Dispose successfully of redundant, broken and outdated stores. Attend audit queries and inspections.
