REQUIREMENTS : Grade 10 / Junior Certificate; plus A minimal of 6 months trade related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: Ability to use electrical and hand tools. Good interpersonal, verbal exchange and organizational skills. Ability to work independently.

DUTIES : Provide assistance in the maintenance of facilities, automobiles and equipment. Arrange suitable equipment and sort out parts for maintenance. Drain used oils from components, replenish with new oils and trade all types of filters. Check motors and equipment fluid stages for correctness and grease all greasing points. Repair and exchange worn or broken wheels. Discard used oils, sawdust, filters, rags, scrapped metals and tyres in the specified areas. Repair, clean, provider and protected retaining of tools and equipment according to requirements beneath supervision. Regularly smooth and make certain tidiness of the workshop, vehicles, gear and tools. Ensure the safekeeping of, and file lacking or faulty gear and tools. Assist in the removal, stripping and assembling of elements of cars and equipment. Secure free bolts, nuts, screws, clamps, plugs and terminals. Report all hazards and practicable risks to the supervisor.
