REQUIREMENTS : An Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development/ Developmental Studies or associated field. A minimal of 8 years recognisable trip in Community Development after acquiring the required qualification. Computer literacy. A valid driver’s license. Competencies: Knowledge of human behaviour and social systems. Understanding neighborhood dynamics. Networking and establishing partnerships. Understanding community development programmes. Community Development research. Understanding neighborhood improvement legislation. Planning and organizing; Networking skills; Communication (written and verbal); Project Management; Team leadership. People management. Conflict management. Project management. Financial Management. Keeping abreast with new trends in the neighborhood development fields to decorate service delivery. Knowledge of insurance policies and legislative mandates related to Community Development.
DUTIES : Coordinate the identification, facilitation, and implementation of built-in development interventions/ packages in partnership with different applicable stakeholders thru effective and economic utilization of resources. Conduct lookup concerning to community development work. Interpret, put into effect and give coaching on policies, legislation related to neighborhood development. Manage relations with all relevant role players, interior and external. Monitoring and comparison of programmes. Manage resources (human, financial, assets). Ensure the provision of sound partnership mobilization systems.
