REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 and certificate in Child and Youth Care. Current proof of registration with South African Council for Social Services Professionals (SACSSP) (proof of registration submitted when shortlisted) Experience in CYCC will be brought advantage. Current registration with the SACSSP council as Child and Youth Carebworker. Competencies: Ability to hold confidentiality. Good verbal exchange skills. Good time keeping. Ability to work as a team. Problem solving skills. Planning and organizing skills. Knowledge of relevant legislations, policies and techniques in Child and formative years Care. Interpersonal and Leadership skills. Able to do shift work.
DUTIES : Provide a secure, caring and therapeutic developmental programme for younger people. Build superb relationship with young people. Render developmental work with younger people and their families. Responsible for every day logging and document writing. Engage younger people in developmental programmes. Ensure enough supervision. Conduct life space interviews. Work inside a multidisciplinary crew to make certain the method and implementation of man or woman developmental plans for young people. Escort younger humans to medical institution clinics and different referrals. Perform all the administration features required by using the job.
