ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER/WORK-STUDY OFFICER REF NO: NCDOH30/2026 (X1 POST)

Job Purpose. To render organisational development and work-study services in the department.
SALARY : R325 101.per annum
CENTRE : Provincial Office, Kimberley

REQUIREMENTS : A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or equal qualification. One to two years clerical journey in Organisational Development / Human Resource Management. PERSAL sub system / Establishment Certificate, a legitimate driver’s license, Certificates in JE and Work￾study will be an introduced advantage Competency Profile: Knowledge of organisational sketch principles, job analysis, and job comparison (including the Compensate-evaluate system). Understanding of the Job Evaluation process, Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act, DPSA OD Directives and Circulars and other relevant legislative frameworks. Ability to align job descriptions and organisational structures. Understanding of enterprise system mapping, and benchmarking. Excellent conversation (verbal and written), facilitation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical, policy evaluation and record writing skills. Computer literacy (MS Office) and understanding of the PERSAL system. Ability to work independently, beneath pressure, and as phase of a team. Willingness to work overtime and journey when required.

DUTIES : Undertake effectivity studies inside the branch (Enhancing effectivity in the branch to ensure the removing of waste in the provision of service, Analyse HR Reports to optimize work methods and methods, work processes, workflow and general running procedures, Participate in varieties and template plan in the department for reporting purposes. Conduct Job Evaluation, assemble and evaluate job descriptions (Subject all posts to JE as per the format or as per Management requests, Maintain a job description database and Identify posts besides JD’s and assist in compiling them). Provide help on organisational layout services (Assist in the reviewing, developing and monitoring of the organisational structure, Align organisational shape to PERSAL e.g. creation, abolishing, etc, Assist in conducting Organisational Functionality Assessment (OFA) in the department, Assist with the implementation and annual reporting of the department’s OFA, Assist with the development of the Service Delivery Model (SD), Support gadgets with the compilation of Standard Operating Procedures). Supervise and boost human resources/staff.
