Key Responsibilities

• Operation of Automation Machinery: Oversee day-to-day operations of automated equipment used in wire harness assembly, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair malfunctions, and keep records of maintenance activities.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards, implement quality control measures, and collaborate with quality assurance teams.
• Process Optimization: Assess production processes to identify areas for improvement, implement changes or upgrades, and stay updated on technological advancements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, conduct regular safety checks, and train employees on safe operating procedures.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operational parameters, prepare reports on machinery performance, and communicate with management.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with technicians, engineers, and operational staff, participate in team meetings, and assist in training new staff.
• Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, participate in workshops and training, and contribute to innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma, Technical degree, or certification in automation, mechatronics, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Proven experience working with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and other automated systems, preferably in wire harness manufacturing or similar industry.
• Skills: Strong understanding of automation systems, mechanical and electrical principles, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and programming skills.
• Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Certifications: Valid Forklift Driver’s certificate (if applicable).
