Looking for a career in mining? Gold One Group Limited is hiring a Winch Driver for its Gedex Division in Brakpan, Gauteng. This is a permanent position requiring expertise in winch operations within a fast-paced and safety-conscious mining environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Grade 11 or equivalent ABET Level.
- MQA Competency B Certificate and winch training completion.
- Valid operating license/certificate.
- Ability to communicate in English and any of South Africa’s 11 official languages.
- Experience working underground and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operating winches and inspecting equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Reporting equipment issues and complying with Health and Safety regulations.
- Conducting daily inspections and ensuring machinery meets mining standards.
