Position: Laundry Manager
Salary: R255 450 per annum
Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Senior certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in managing an industrial laundry or a large processing plant.
- Inherent Requirement: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
Duties:
- Ensure Supply of Clean Linen: Ensure health institutions receive adequate and regular supply of clean disinfected linen.
- Client Satisfaction: Monitor client satisfaction via quarterly surveys.
- Stock Management: Maintain and audit linen stock levels, assist with procurement processes.
- HR Coordination: Co-ordinate HR practices (Leave Management, Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures, staff motivation).
- Cost Management: Ensure cost-effective in-house laundry service and expenditure control.
- Administrative Compliance: Ensure compliance with administrative prescripts.
- Production Line Management: Overall control, coordination, and organization of a production line in a Central Laundry.
- Training: Provide training for subordinates.
- Regulatory Compliance: Strict adherence to Labour Relations and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
