Job Description

Job Summary: The overall purpose of this position is basic control room duties including managing of staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Grade C PSIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
• Fire Fighting trained
• First Aid trained
• Computer Literacy in MS Office, CCTV, etc.
• Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and liaison skills are essential
• Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required
• Work independently and within a team
• A minimum of three years’ experience in the security industry control room
• Fluent in English
• No criminal record
• Must reside in Durban

Key Performance Areas (not totally inclusive):

• Managing the control room personnel in all aspects of the control room
• Updating the incident register on a daily basis
• Able to exercise and maintain discipline
