Purpose of Position:
As a Store Manager at PEP Home, you’ll lead a team of Dynamos to achieve business KPIs, drive sales, control costs, mitigate risks, manage stock loss, and ensure world-class store standards.
Responsibilities
- Increase Sales: Focus on customer service and world-class store standards, maintain the store image, manage stock, and implement promotions.
- Minimize Stock Loss: Foster a healthy store culture, follow security measures, and handle stock and cash procedures efficiently.
- Cost Management: Drive efficiencies in line with the company’s low-cost culture.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure all store administrative tasks are completed according to company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage the performance of a dynamic team of Dynamos.
- Maintain Standards: Uphold general health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Job Requirements For Store Manager
- Education: Grade 12; relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in a business/retail-related field) is advantageous.
- Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in a retail environment within a leadership role.
- Skills: Proficient in English; computer literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is an advantage).
- Attributes: Passion for retail, integrity, strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong managerial capabilities, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to work retail hours.
