Key Responsibilities For Sales Consultant
- Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements.
- Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and more.
- Exceed monthly sales targets through proactive approaches and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in capital goods sales.
- Knowledge of intruder detection equipment (IDS, DSC, AJAX) is advantageous.
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
Job Requirements & Attributes
- Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to succeed.
- Exceptional selling skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and Internet usage.
- Presentable appearance with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Passion for electronic and technical equipment.
Duties
- Generate and close deals from self-sourced and internal leads.
- Cultivate relationships with estate agents, builders, and architects.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Maintain meticulous administrative duties related to sales.
Performance Standards
- Achieve revenue sales targets and drive acquisition of new clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotes.
