Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is seeking a dedicated Farm Aid for their Madzivhandila College of Agriculture: Lwamondo Farm. This position offers an annual salary of R131,265 and requires a Grade 10 / ABET / AET or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA. Basic literacy, numeracy, and farm work experience are essential, along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties include:
- Chemical crop protection
- Soil cultivation and preparation
- Crop irrigation
- Livestock care
- Dipping, vaccination, and dosing of livestock
- Crop/orchard/vineyard tending
- Facility cleaning and waste disposal
- Firefighting and prevention
- Windmill and water supply system maintenance
