Position Purpose
The incumbent will work in various cinema functions including Box Office Sales, Catering Sales, Collections, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, and Poppers as requested by a supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric
- Experience: 0 – 1 years in a similar role
- Skills: Basic MS Office Suite, knowledge of VISTA advantageous
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, administrative & organizational skills, interpersonal skills, analytical, computer literate
Job Description
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ster-Kinekor products and promotional activities to upsell to guests.
- Presentation Standards: Ensure adherence to presentation standards (age restrictions, synopsis file, posters, F&B and product displays, disclaimers).
- Product Preparation: Prepare Popcorn, Slush, etc., to quality standards and report deviations.
- Shift Preparation: Assist in shift preparation where required.
- Product Quality: Manage the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure guest experience is not compromised.
- Presentation: Remain presentable at all times and conduct yourself respectably as your actions reflect on the company.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, counter areas, and storerooms.
- Product Storage: Ensure prepared products are properly sealed, packaged, and stored.
- Health & Safety: Submit H&S reports as per schedule and adhere to uniform and preparation standards for safety.
