Position: Operator
Salary: R155 148 per annum
Centre: Head Office, Cape Town

Requirements:

• Minimum Requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Experience: Appropriate/recognizable experience in a central laundry.
• Inherent Requirements: Prepared to work on a rotation basis, physically fit.
• Competencies: Good interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of Health and Safety rules in a laundry and linen environment, knowledge of the disciplinary process.

Duties:

• Supervisory Functions: Ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment.
• Machine Operation: Operate various laundry machines and equipment.
• Inspection: Perform daily routine inspection of machinery and operating areas, report defects.
• Chemical Handling: Mix detergents and chemicals.
• Safety Compliance: Comply with safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
