Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding products, operating the cash register, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The Shop Assistant will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them in finding products
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
Stock and organize shelves with merchandise
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store
Assist with inventory management and restocking

Qualifications:

Grade 12
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactions
Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise
Knowledge of products and services offered in the store
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends
