CLEANER

Chief Directorate: Emergency and Clinical Services Support
SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Emergency Medical Services, Overberg District

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. Experience: Appropriate journey as a Cleaner in a health facility environment. Proven journey in duties as referred to below. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts and on weekends. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good time management. Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.

DUTIES : Cleaning of all offices, frequent areas, kitchens and ablution services of the EMS Base/Grounds, which include deep cleaning and specified cleansing tasks. Provide a clean, safe, and hygienic environment to prevent accidents and the spread of contamination which consists of sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of floors, dusting, sharpening of flooring and furniture, emptying bins daily, cleaning of windows, mild shades, walls and all toilets, sluices and drains. Ensure that cleansing tools e.g., sharpening and scrubbing machines, mops, brooms, buckets etc. are easy after usage and securely stored. -Ensure elimination of everyday waste from constructing daily. Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required and make certain accurate inventory manipulate processes. Relief in accordance to the desires of the service.
