Job Description

Resolve inbound customer queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely and accurate responses across various channels. Maintain service level agreements and provide administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve Inbound Customer Queries:
    • Handle and resolve all incoming queries and enquiries.
    • Verify customer identity before providing information.
    • Explain benefit structure and provide payment breakdowns.
    • Update clients on payment progress and estimated payments.
    • Handle difficult calls with patience and professionalism.
    • Escalate enquiries to relevant departments and ensure closure.
    • Log all calls, messages, and queries onto the system.
  • Perform Administrative Duties:
    • Complete all administration duties accurately and timely.
    • Direct emails, faxes, etc., appropriately within stipulated time frames.
    • Complete photocopies as requested.
  • Respond to Channel Enquiries:
    • Respond to emails, WhatsApp, USSD, and mobile app enquiries professionally.
    • Log channel and query onto the system as per standard procedure.
    • Escalate channel queries to relevant departments if necessary.
  • Attend to Walk-in Clients:
    • Attend to walk-in clients professionally.
    • Request information from other departments to assist with enquiries.

Requirements

Technical Competency Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Pension Funds Act and Rules.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Telephone etiquette.
  • Typing skills (30 words per minute).

Minimum Education/Training:

  • Relevant Diploma.

Minimum Work Experience:

  • 2 years job-related experience.
  • Experience within the retirement fund industry is an added advantage.
