Position Purpose

A self-motivated, customer service-oriented cleaning supervisor is required to manage a team of commercial cleaners and general workers.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Complexity:

• Directing, guiding, motivating, and influencing all cleaners and general workers for effective service delivery.
• Advising Managers responsible for the day-to-day management of Cleaning and Hygiene at respective sites.
• Managing employee relations and fostering collaborative teamwork.
• Contributing as part of the BSS Team.

Role Complexity:

• Ensuring high standards of service delivery at all levels.
• Investigating, proposing, and implementing innovative and quality Cleaning and Hygiene solutions.
• Ensuring the implementation of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Direct reports to the Cleaning and Hygiene Manager.
• Matrix reports to Executives and Managers.
• Key customers: All.
• Key suppliers: Outsource Soft Services Vendors.
• Relations with all suppliers, contracted consulting companies, and internal clients.

Independent Thought and Judgment:

• Independent thinker with decision-making abilities as per the delegation of authority.

Requirements

Education:

• Matric

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a major corporate environment in the cleaning and hygiene field.

Knowledge:
