DRIVER (SUPPORT SERVICES)

SALARY : R138 486 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate ride as driver in an health center environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Code (B or EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work shifts and night time duty. Willingness to work overtime. Willingness to perform standby obligations after hours, together with weekends. Access to lock-up garage at dwelling or in the back of locked gates. Competencies (knowledge/skills): The potential to communicate effectively. Good expertise of street network in the Peninsula. Knowledge of Transport Circular U2 33-2009The capability to be given accountability and responsibility and to work independently and unsupervised. Ability to work under pressure.

DUTIES : Transport goods and offerings from one point to another and transport personnel from one factor to another. Responsible for completion of car log sheets. Assist Transport Officer with primary administrative and usual tasks. Responsible for primary upkeep of vehicles (cleaning, reporting of defects, take cars for offerings and repairs, etc).
