DUTIES : To render an Animal Health Regulatory Support Service in terms of the Animal Health Diseases Act (Act 35/1984). Implement sickness control measures. Render a support service to the State Veterinarian related to animal disease control, reproduction and manufacturing advancement, pattern series and regulation enforcement. Assist in the provision of extension offerings on animal fitness to animal owners. Perform administrative and related functions, which would, inter alia, entail populating databases and collect and publish month-to-month and quarterly reports.
